RSPB Rye Meads
Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire 12th August 2026
An early visit to Rye Meads to see the Kingfishers who are on their third nest. Both male and female were seen, with fish being taken from the adjacent River Lee.The light was overhead and harsh leading to washed out colour and a heat haze off the water lasted until around 10am.
