Wildlife Photography Hides, Pond Hide 14th August 2026
An overnight visit to the Pond Hide where I have shot many Kingfishers. Over night we had two visits from an Otter and a Heron, each time it was there for around 15 minutes, the first visit around 11pm, the next 2am.The Pond was equipped with four flash guns on the corners. In hindsight I should have thought to use a polarising filter to reduce the refections from the wet coat of the Otter. Next time perhaps.
