Squadron 19, IWM Duxford flying day

The 19 Squadron flying day at IWM Duxford is a theme around the early WW2 years when Duxford was the home of 19 Squadron. The Squadron were the first to be equipped with Spitfires, so the display features these and early war aircraft such as the Hurricane and the Me 109 (a Buchon).

The flying days are mini airshows with around 90 minutes of flying and a crowd size around 5000. There are still lots of food outlets and merchandise stalls for the visitors. My pictures below start with airfield shot and then move onto the display aircraft in their flying order. The last Shot is of the B17, Sally B, as she was leaving for another show.
