Day 23 - November 27th
A foogy morning and a Sainsburys click and collect meant an early start. I arrived at Fairlands Valley Lakes around 7:30am just before sunrise. With me today I had the XT4 with the 55-200mm zoom in anticipation of isolating trees and birds against the fog. The walk encompassed the Wildfowl lake and the boating lake, and the following images were taken on an anticlockwise route.
Almost opposite where I parked, the avenue of trees had this colourful bouquet wedged in the branches
Looking back towards the sun, trees in the fog
Swans, Geese, Ducks, Cormorants and Moorhens were all on the lake
The lone Swan

A posing Gull
The sun in a losing fight with the fog
I liked this bobble hat, the picture would have been better with someone coming around the corner
A host of gulls resting on this fence with regular new arrivals
