I had left it a little late going out as the forecast bright morning was replaced bay cloud about an hour earlier than forecast. However the objective today was to try out the new XF500mm lens that I have recently acquired. It has a reputation for being a very sharp lens. All the images below were processed by DXO PureRaw4 before editing in Lightroom. Many of them were taken with an ISO between 500 and 3200 and have cleaned up very well. The majority of these pictures were taken at some distance and have been cropped for composition.

Many of these images would not have been of this quality with out this new lens….. WOW…
