A visit to Whipsnade Zoo

Ay short notice I decided to visit Whipsnade. Whipsnade is part of ZSL, the other site being London Zoo in Regents Park.
I had misjudged my timing. Arriving just after 11am and with a sunny morning, the place was heaving with families. As usual I did not try to see everything, missing out out this time The Chimpansee’s, Tigers, Bears and the tropical house, The further away from the centre of the Zoo the less crowded it was. I took some OK pictures and enjoyed my time. Next visit will be a weekday and I will get in earlier.
