A602’s Hot Rod Car Club meet
The A602’s are a club for Hotrod and modified cars. They have a number of meets, but once a year they hold “Autorama” at Fairlands Valley Park in Stevenage. The event is an open day for the public to come along and see their cars and talk about what they do. the cars are accompanied by van does selling all types of merch and food wagons and activities for young children. However the highlight were the live band, the A602’s, playing a wide variety of songs including some from the Rolling Stones.
I had attended last year during a heatware, this year it was much more comfortable, with early morning rain. There were some lovely cars, the majority being of American origins and some the size of a football pitch!
I attempted to capture the overall event, pick out some of the cars and the details in the engine bay or the interior.
