Monks Wood Walk
Monks Woods, Stevenage 25th October 2026
A break in the rain (not the wind) got me out for an Autumnal walk through Monks Wood to visit the old earthworks. After the dry weather, the pools around the earthworks were dry. Generally these woods are cluttered making it difficult to find a good composition. On returning to the carpark I found a new modern metallic sculpture that I had not seen before.
